Instructor
of the Year
Each year at the Annual Professional Development
Conference TAICS honors outstanding instructors.
Each member school may submit the name of one person
for this award. Each nominee is given a plaque
with
the name of the school and date of the conference.
The nominiees then compete for the TAICS Instructor
of the Year Award and receive a special plaque
for this recognition. All applications will be
reviewed
by a three-member committee of individuals not
affiliated with any school or institution.

Student
of the Year
"Student of the Year" was a new award category
last year. Boards of both associations thought it
appropriate to honor students who have attended
school in spite of extraordinary obstacles. We will
honor three students per association: one in allied
health, one in business, and one in professional
or technical. Please complete the form and attach
an explanation as to why you feel the student is
deserving of this honor. We will ask the student
to attend the conference and be recognized at that
time. Their registration fee for the meeting will
be waived.
